Dr. Tam O’Shaughnessy

Myah Rose is a mezzo soprano as well as a concert lecturer and radio host. She’s sung at any number of events and performances as a member of the Seattle Opera Chorus, and as part of Seattle Opera’s Programs and Partnerships department, including opera school tours of Earth to Kenzie (2025) and Pirates of Penzance (2026) and workshop performances of several brand-new operas emerging from our Creation Lab program. She has given pre-show talks and made podcasts for Seattle Opera and Seattle Symphony, and presently works as a Seattle radio host for KNKX and, previously, for Classical KING. She grew up in Georgia, went to college at the University of Georgia and then to the University of Michigan for a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance.
